Your friendly neighborhood therapy practice
Táhirah Gouldbourne,MFT
Hello, I’m Táhirah Gouldbourne, MFT and I am honored to support individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful change.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Narrative Therapy, Systems Theory, Intersectionality, and culturally affirming care. Sessions with me focus on identifying generational patterns, exploring how identity, culture, relationships, sexuality, kinks, and lived experiences shape your story, and reframing narratives that no longer serve you. I am deeply passionate about helping clients break harmful intergenerational cycles, explore their authentic selves, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
I specialize in working with BIPOC individuals, LGBTQIA+ clients, non-traditional relationships, and those navigating complex family systems, identity development, trauma, sexuality, and relational concerns. My work is collaborative, affirming, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when we honor every part of your story without judgment.
I strive to cultivate a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. I believe in the resilience of every individual and family system, and I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, self-discovery, and transformation.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to book an appointment. I look forward to working with you.
